What is iBuddy Media?

iBuddy Media is an independent app studio based in Florida. We build practical, honest mobile apps that come from real needs, respect your time, and respect your privacy. The idea is simple: each app should act like a good buddy that earns its place on your phone.

What apps do you make?

Our first app is VibeMobe, a fitness app for referencing and logging workouts, as well as playing music from a customized dynamic playlist while you train. Two more are on the way: Dive Buddy, a scuba diving logbook, and Happy Trails, an app for hikers and outdoor lovers.

What devices do your apps run on?

Our apps are currently available on Android through the Google Play Store. We're starting with Android first; an iOS version may follow depending on demand.

Is VibeMobile free?

Yes. VibeMobile is free to download and use. Some apps may later offer optional premium features for people who want more, but the core experience is built to be genuinely useful on its own.

Do I need an account to use your apps?

No. VibeMobile doesn't require an account or a login. You download it and start using it, no sign-up, no email required.

Do your apps collect or sell my personal data?

We do not sell your data, ever, and we aim to collect as little as possible. VibeMobile, for example, keeps your workout information on your own device and doesn't send it to us. Every app has its own privacy policy spelling out exactly what it does and doesn't handle, all available at privacy.ibuddymedia.com.

Do your apps have ads?

VibeMobile has no ads. We'd rather build apps you actually enjoy using than fill them with distractions.

Is VibeMobile appropriate for kids?

VibeMobile is intended for users age 13 and older. It doesn't collect personal information from anyone, so it doesn't collect it from children either. One thing for parents to know: the app's music feature lets users search and play music through YouTube, so it can reach content on YouTube's platform, which is governed by Google's and YouTube's own terms and policies. Parents and Guardians should monitor their children's playlists to ensure appropriate content is being accessed.

How do I report a problem, get help, or suggest a feature?

When will Dive Buddy and Happy Trails be released?

Dive Buddy is in active development, and Happy Trails is planned for 2027. We don't have firm release dates yet; the best way to stay in the loop is to check back at ibuddymedia.com.

Do you build custom apps for other people or businesses?

Right now, iBuddy Media is focused on building and publishing its own apps rather than taking on contract work. That said, if you have an idea, a partnership in mind, or just want to share feedback, we'd still love to hear from you at [email protected].

If your apps are free and ad-free, how do you make money?

Fair question. For now, the focus is on building apps people actually want to use. Over time, some apps may offer optional paid features or premium versions. What we won't do is sell your personal data or bury the experience in ads.
